How much does it cost to hire the Sherston Village Hall for a wedding?

In our Wedding Brochure all our current pricing is shown for both ceremony & reception and reception only by season. A small deposit is required to secure the venue.

How do we book a Registrar for our wedding ceremony?

There is a section on the website that explains what you need to do to book your wedding with Wiltshire Registration Service. You need to confirm you have booked a registrar for your dates before your booking is confirmed with us.

What is included in the hire?

You have exclusive use of Sherston Village Hall from midday on Friday to 4pm on Sunday. This allows you time to set up and clear down after the wedding.

This includes use of the field at the rear of the hall.

You may also use any of the tables and chairs we have in the hall. These are detailed on the Facilities page.

You have full use of the kitchen and the service bar area.

We have an AV system with a large screen which can be used, as can our wifi.

How many guests can we have?

The maximum numbers for each of the halls is detailed under the Facilities page, we will be happy to discuss how best to use the halls depending on your requirements and your numbers. There is no minimum number.

What time does our wedding need to end?

As we are in the heart of the village, we ask all music to stop at 11pm and everyone off site by midnight.

Is Sherston Village Hall Accessible?

Yes, our hall is fully accessible, full details are under our Accessibility page.

Can we bring confetti?

Yes, as long as it is flower petals or bio-degradable confetti.
