Based in Sherston, Truffle & Thyme launched in November 2020, hand-delivering delicious grazing boxes and hand-picked gift hampers across the countryside. Fast forward to now and we’re still doing the deliveries, along with catering for weddings, events and other celebrations across Wiltshire, Somerset and the Cotswolds.

What sort of catering can we provide?

We’re more about a relaxed dining style here at Truffle & Thyme, rather than the formal, sit down, plated affairs. Here’s some inspiration for you:

• GRAZING TABLES – The ultimate in picky food! Full of the best artisanal cheeses, award winning cured meats, pork pies and sausage rolls. They absolutely pop with colours, flavours and textures from the veg, fruit, dips and pickles.
• BREAKFAST & BRUNCH BUFFETS – think freshly baked banana bread and mini pastries; mini filled bagels; local butter, jams and preserves; sliced tropical fruits and berries; breakfast cheeses and charcuterie. Breakfast needn’t be boring!
• FINGER BUFFETS – a more classic, lighter buffet style, but still with that Truffle & Thyme twist. You don’t have to have a sandwich…
• FORK BUFFETS – big plates, platters, bowls and boards of marinated cold meats, fish, shellfish and Ottolenghi inspired salads, with Middle Eastern, Far Eastern and Mediterranean flavours throughout for you and your guests to dive into.
• CANAPÉS – deliciously dainty, bite-sized mouthfuls. Perfect for garden parties, a wedding reception or summer soirée. Just add fizz!
• AFTERNOON TEA – classic finger sandwiches & mini sausage rolls; freshly baked scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam; chocolate brownie bites and mini French macarons. It’s a classic!
• BBQ’s – our most recent addition to T&T’s offering, with all of the theatre, smoke and flames you’d expect, along with all the colours of our seasonal, vibrant salads.
• GRAZE CUPS – they’re a fun alternative to canapés; perfect for that “What to do?” for evening wedding guests; or can be branded to match your corporate events.
• THE TRUFFLE & THYME PICNIC BASKET WEDDING – for a much more relaxed approach than a formal plated menu. Just add hay bales, bunting and all things vintage.
